An industry-leading software solutions organization is expanding its Data Engineering division and seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the team in Malta.
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the on-premise to Cloud migration initiative, leveraging the latest advancements in technology. The primary focus for the Data Engineering team is delivering a seamless AWS-based Data platform, employing efficient pipelines and advanced data streaming techniques using Kafka and orchestration with Airflow.
We are looking for a driven, proactive Senior Data Engineer who thrives in collaborative environments. This role presents an opportunity for professional growth and skill development, particularly in AWS services, Kafka, Airflow, and more. You’ll acquire invaluable and transferable skills while expanding your technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and maintenance of the Data Warehouse
- Collaborate on the migration project for AWS Data Services
- Construct efficient ETL processes and robust data pipelines
- Oversee data streaming with Kafka and orchestration with Airflow
Skills & Experience:
- Proficient in SQL and Python programming
- Expertise in designing and implementing ETL processes and data pipelines
- Prior experience with AWS services, Kafka, and Airflow is highly desirable
Salary / Remuneration Package:
- Starting salary up to €65,000
