Are you passionate about cybersecurity and ready to take on a challenging role where you can make a real impact? We are looking for a skilled Security Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team at a leading FinTech company. This role is integral in safeguarding their digital assets by proactively monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity incidents and fraudulent activities.
You will assist the CISO in leading the development and implementation of security measures, risk management strategies, and response protocols to protect the organisation from emerging external threats & vulnerabilities while ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations & best practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security logs to detect potential threats such as account takeovers, phishing attempts, and fraud.
- Utilize SIEM tools to gather and interpret security data.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including data breaches and malware infections as well as conducting regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and improve our security posture.
- Ensure compliance with industry security standards, including ISO27001:2022.
- Prepare and present reports on security risks, incidents, and mitigation strategies to senior management.
Requirements:
- 3+ Years Experience in roles such as SOC Analyst, Cyber Security Analyst, Risk Analyst, or Fraud Analyst.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, cybersecurity frameworks, incident management, end-user security, and financial fraud mechanisms
- Experience with security systems like NGFW/WAF firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and log management.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CFE are highly desirable.
Salary: Up to €65K DOE
